iOS Instructions

From your iOS device:

  1. Settings
  2. Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. Under "Accounts" section:
    1. Add Account…
  4. Select "Other"
  5. Under "Contacts" section:
    1. Add CardDAV Account
      1. Server:  Use the CardDAV Server address we emailed you.  This can also be found on your Dashboard page (example:
      2. User Name:  SharePoint username (example:  domain\username).
      3. Password:  SharePoint password.
      4. Description:  descriptive name you will understand later (example:  Alpha Project Team Members).
  6. Next (if you typed in everything correctly, you are done – your device will start synchronizing). 

Troubleshooting:  If your device reports a problem with finding the server, double check that you entered your CardDAV Server address properly.  For the most part your device will tell you what the problem is.  For example, if it fails to authenticate, you should double check the SharePoint domain/username and password you entered.
