We were present and accounted for at the SharePoint 2014 Conference in Las Vegas - a gathering of SharePoint communities worldwide. With over 10,000 attendees and session tracks for IT Leaders, Developers and Executives; it's a bustling atmosphere to say the least.
The push from Microsoft was predictably on cloud and Yammer. Yammer? Yammer can best be described as something we used to refer to as a "list serve" but with apps. To be sure, renaming a list serve and back-dropping it against the phrase "social enterprise" seems to really get the softies excited.
We have witnessed the funeral precession for InfoPath, attended many developer track sessions and have had some interesting conversations with fellow SharePoint community members.
We have given away several crisp new $100 bills to lucky
attendees wearing our gear. Hopefully
some of this cash escaped the casino.
